Eimeriosis of goat and sheep is a parasitic disease, caused by Eimeria species and has been observed in all sheep-rearing countries of the world. Due to the severe economical losses (poor weight gain, and occasionally fatal outcome of lambs and kids) eimeriosis represents a major problem for the world and Greek goat and sheep industry. In this paper, the etiology, the pathogenesis, the diagnosis, the control and therapy of the disease are discused
