A case of transmissible enteritis of turkeys in Greece and its detection using TEM PDF Print E-mail

A case of transmissible enteritis in a farm with young birds is described, with up to 0 fatalities of the flock. The diagnosis was confirmed by the obsevation of corona-like virus particles in the intestines of infected birds using transmission electron microscope. It is noted that the presence of monicytosis as well as the clinical symptoms set it apart from other diseases of turkeys.
