Esteemed colleagues,

Traditionally, for the 14^th time, Section of zoonoses of the Serbian Veterinary Society and Department for infectious diseases of animals and bee diseases of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Belgrade are organizing the Symposium 14^th Serbian epizootiology days. The decision to organize the 14^th Serbian epizootiology days was made at the meeting of the representatives of Section of Zoonoses of the SVS and colleagues working in the fields of epizootiology and epidemiology, followed by estimation of current epizootiological and epidemiological situation in the Republic of Serbia. The representatives discussed the organization of 2^nd International epizootiology days at the same time with 14^th Serbian epizootiology days. Current epizootiological and epidemiological situation in the Republic of Serbia and region of Balkans imposes the common problems. 2^nd International epizootiology days would give the opportunity for discussion and analyses of the current situation and it would be the place from which the joined conclusions and further goals in control, prevention and eradication of dangerous infectious diseases of humans and animals could be established.

Official languages are Serbian and English. Call for abstracts (one A4 page) is opened until February 10^th 2012. For those who intend to submit the full paper, it should contain the minimum of 3 pages of text and have to be submitted until March, 10^th 2012 in English or in Serbian and English language at the following address of the organiser:

Abstract should contain at least 300 words in Serbian and English language. For authors outside Serbia, the abstract could be only on English. Obligatory parts are title of the paper, names of the authors, name of the institution where the researchers work, address, goal of the research, material and methods, results and conclusion (please see the attached example of the abstract). Scientific committee has the right of selection of submitted papers.
