      As promised yesterday in Geneva, please find attached the slides of my presentation "Reporting Guidelines Based on Principles of Evidence-Based Medicine". Following on the discussions about cases of scientific misconduct, I take this opportunity to share another possibly helpful resource with you. The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) has developed 17 flowcharts with algorithms for editors to follow when they suspect publication misconduct (incl. plagiarism and other forms).

      They are freely available at: http://publicationethics.org/flowcharts. I hope you will find them useful in case you need to deal with such cases (which I do not hope!) I enjoyed the stimulating presentations and discussions yesterday; thank you again for the opportunity to contribute to this meeting!
